I work with a nationally commercial real estate firm in property management and development. We are currently seeking a Commercial Property Manager to join our team and oversee a dynamic portfolio of commercial asset in San Diego market.

Your new role

As the Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and financial performance of a diverse commercial portfolio. You will ensure that all properties are maintained to the highest standards, deliver exceptional service to tenants, and implement strategies to maximize asset value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily operations of multiple commercial properties, ensuring all services and maintenance are delivered efficiently and professionally.
• Manage tenant relations, including lease administration, renewals, and addressing service requests or concerns.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, and on-site staff to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and capital improvement plans.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to support occupancy goals and tenant retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Commercial Property Manager, preferably with office and/or retail assets.
• Strong understanding of property operations, lease administration, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPM or RPA designation is a plus.
