A boutique law firm based in Brielle, NJ is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney to join its growing estate planning and probate team. With a strong local presence and long-standing client relationships, the firm provides attorneys with a close-knit environment focused on client service, autonomy, and integrity.

This position offers the opportunity to manage a steady caseload of estate planning, administration, and fiduciary matters while engaging with financial professionals and directly counseling families and individuals.

This reputed New Jersey-based law firm was established toward the end of the twentieth century and employs a small team of highly competent attorneys. Some of its key areas of practice are divorce-separation, criminal defense, commercial law, and real estate law. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives

• Provide counsel on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies

• Handle probate and trust administration, including fiduciary representation

• Represent clients in Surrogate’s Court proceedings and estate litigation

• Conduct research and analysis on estate and tax matters

• Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure compliance with ethical standards

• Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and planners

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of trusts and estates law experience

• Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning (preferred but not required)

• Strong drafting and analytical skills

• Proven client counseling ability and discretion with sensitive matters

• Familiarity with New Jersey estate procedures and probate law
