Our client, a well-established Commercial General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to join their executive leadership team in Columbus.

The Role:

As the Vice President of Construction, you will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide strategic direction, mentor project teams, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all construction operations, from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
• Implement best practices in scheduling, budgeting, safety, and quality control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the executive team on business strategy, growth, and operational improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a Commercial General Contractor.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
