Title: Durable Medical Equipment Delivery Driver

Location: Tomball, TX.

Job Type: Full-Time + On-Call Rotation

Start Pay: $17 USD/h - $19 USD/h (Based on experience)

As a DME Delivery Driver, you'll find yourself at the forefront of our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Envision yourself delivering and installing equipment and supplies to customers' homes, offices, or healthcare facilities with precision and care. From conducting home and office visits to aiding in the cleaning and repair of all equipment, you'll become the dependable figure our customers rely on. But wait, there's more! Not only will you excel in deliveries, but you'll also shine as a retail sales assistant, providing invaluable support and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of supplies, pricing, and reimbursement issues. And that's not all – you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our branch building and grounds, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone.

During idle times between deliveries, you'll report to the Branch Manager, showcasing your proactive nature and unwavering commitment to efficiency. Your dedication to safeguarding the confidentiality of customer information will remain steadfast, fostering trust and reliability at every turn.

Operating and caring for our company vehicles will come naturally to you as you navigate roads with ease and responsibility, with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. But beyond fulfilling duties, we're seeking individuals who are people-oriented, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up equipment and supplies to customers' homes, offices, or healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct home and office visits as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and repair of all equipment.
  • Provide assistance with retail sales and maintain knowledge of supplies, prices, and reimbursement issues.
  • Help maintain the branch building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Report to the Branch Manager during idle time between deliveries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Safely operate and perform routine care of company vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience:

  • 1 year of experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Ability to lift and carry 65 pounds.
  • Ability to drive for approximately 4 hours during an average 8-hour day.
  • Clean and neat personal appearance.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • People-oriented with a desire to help others.
