Job Description

A Kight Home Center (a division of Carter Lumber) Showroom Coordinator/Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support which includes receptionist duties, organizing showroom, inventory, and accounts receivable. Ensuring that the process is running smoothly and a strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position

Requirements to be considered for the position:

• Previous administrative experience
• Ability to use strong judgement in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating problems
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to prioritize
• Experience working with numbers and resolving discrepancies
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel

Responsibilities of the position:

Administrative Duties

• Receptionist duties such as answering phones and greeting customers
• Performs various administrating functions included filing, faxing and shredding
• Organizing and maintaining showroom displays
• Ensures that all mail and faxes are received and routed to proper parties in a timely manner
• Responsible for collecting on sales tickets throughout the day
• Orders vendor samples and office supplies
• Keeps files updated and creates new files as needed

Sales Support

• Reconciles cash drawer and banking information
• Assists customers with questions
• Processes new job accounts, ensuring correct salesman is assigned and all paperwork is complete
• Verifies all product is received and pricing is correct

Accounts Receivable

• Processes purchase orders by matching with invoices and correcting any discrepancies
• Files purchase orders after verification is complete
