Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Industrial Engineer:
Validate work standards and measurements through work sampling, time studies, and analysis.
Conduct formal standards audits to meet the prescribed schedule of standards review.
Complete engineering analyses of proposed changes to distribution center operations and develop appropriate adjustments to engineered standards.
Develop and document procedures and workflows that promote productivity, safety, and quality.
Provide guidance, leadership, and training support for the Labor Management program to the Distribution Center management teams.
This role requires up to 50% travel.
Required Skills for Senior Industrial Engineer:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in distribution, with 3 years of direct experience managing warehouse management systems and formal labor management programs.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a STEM field.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of advanced WMS and LMS software applications, work standards programs, and formal labor productivity tracking and incentive programs.
Direct experience leading and managing implementation of WMS and LMS programs, including knowledge of work measurement techniques and performance incentive plans.
Ability to develop, write and enforce policies and procedures.
