As a **Security Officer - Media Patrol** in **Milpitas, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all occupants. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity to support a positive and welcoming atmosphere. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Tue06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Wed06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thur06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri06:00 AM - 02:30 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech, media, and telecom location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. + Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. + Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas. + Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 1 year of security experience is required. + Customer service experience is preferred. + A valid guard card or security license is preferred. + CPR certification is preferred. + Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
