Sales Representative (Forklifts) — Banker Hours, Leads Provided (No Cold Calling)
Location: Arlington, TX • Schedule: Monday–Friday, “banker hours” • Type: [Full-time]
Compensation:
• Training period (first 60 days): $14.81/hr.
• After 60 days: $9.00/hr + 15% commission on Gross Profit (GP)
Why this role?
All leads are provided by Discount Forklift—you focus on conversations and closing, not cold calling.
What you’ll do
• Service assigned leads, and open new accounts from provided leads.
• Plan and organize daily outreach to existing and high-potential prospects.
• Tailor sales presentations to the buyer and the opportunity.
• Focus efforts by analyzing volume and opportunity across dealers/partners.
• Submit accurate quotes and orders using price lists and product literature.
• Keep leadership informed with daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly/annual territory summaries.
• Track competitors: pricing, products, launches, delivery, and merchandising.
• Recommend product/service/policy improvements based on customer and market feedback.
• Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues, proposing solutions, and documenting outcomes.
• Maintain product and industry knowledge through trainings and resources.
• Keep clean records of area activity and customer sales.
• Contribute to team goals and jump in where needed.
Performance expectations
• Contact every DF-provided lead within the first minute of receipt.
• 3 sales per month or $15,000 in monthly GP required.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Confidently answer questions on credit terms, products, pricing, and availability.
• Obtain deposits and balance payments from clients.
What you bring
• Bilingual preferred (not required).
• Strong customer service mindset; driven, self-starter, high energy.
• Helpful skills: meeting sales goals, closing, negotiation, presentation, and relationship building.
• Organized, accountable, and comfortable working a structured M–F schedule.
Leads & tools
• Warm leads provided by Discount Forklift. No cold calling.
• Product training and sales support included.
