SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Your Lighting Brand® is a full-service Brand Design and Software Company that exclusively services the Commercial and Industrial Lighting Community. Our software, The Lighting Exchange®, is a web-based sales and marketing platform that provides a connection point for all lighting professionals to quickly search, save, and share products and information.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is a key member of The Lighting Exchange team. This role focuses on outbound communications, campaign execution, lead nurturing, sales demo coordination, and outbound platform management to help drive client acquisition and engagement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring cohesive messaging, improving lead quality, and supporting the sales team through high-touch marketing support while contributing to the overall brand visibility in the marketplace.

Salary Range: $45,000-$53,000 based on experience & qualifications

Primary Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Create & deploy marketing copy and content (emails, LinkedIn messages, landing pages, outbound platforms, video scripts) tailored to various customer segments.
  • Coordinate and execute lead generation campaigns across channels (email, social media, Intercom).
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to produce high-impact sales enablement materials (presentation decks, sales collateral, web page outlines, case studies etc.).
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate user data.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, target audience behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Assist in planning and executing digital and event marketing initiatives (webinars, trade shows, online campaigns).
  • Represent the company at industry trade events, assisting with booth setup, customer engagement, lead capture, and follow-up coordination.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar with product initiatives.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage inquiries from first contact to conversion with a white glove/concierge-style service.
  • Understand the unique needs and goals of each client and proactively identify opportunities to add value and enhance their experience with our products and services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including, customer success, data, development, web & design teams, to ensure alignment and timely resolution of customer issues and requests.
  • Advocate for clients within the organization, providing insights and feedback to inform teams on marketing initiatives, and overall sales strategy.
  • Communicate with clients via screen share, face-to-face, chat, email, and calls
  • Other duties as needed to support the team and clients as the software grows
  • Support special projects as assigned, leveraging your expertise and skills to contribute to the successful execution and completion of strategic initiatives within the organization.
  • Collaborate and support CPO/Product Owner on Sales & Marketing strategies.

Primary Sales Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate sales demos with internal sales reps and prospects.
  • Qualify and nurture inbound and outbound leads, ensuring high-quality opportunities are passed to the sales team.
  • Schedule and manage calendars for sales meetings, demos, and follow-ups.
  • Join sales demos and track and report on sales activity weekly in Sales & Onboarding meeting.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules with Customer Success lead, after sales conversion.
  • Provide administrative support during the sales process, including pre-sales meeting agendas, demo meeting notetaking, and proposal documentation.
  • Analyze and optimize sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supports subscription churn by tracking renewals, and assisting Customer Success with proactive outreach to initiate engagement and usage audits, improve retention and feature adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or marketing support role (B2B preferred).
  • Strong writing and copy creation skills with a knack for persuasive messaging.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), marketing automation, and productivity platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with KPIs and performance data.
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
