We're seeking an experienced production lab tech to join our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Prior relevant experience will be essential. Base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, a generous PTO plan and many other benefits. Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 4:00am - 12:30pm Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. This role involves: + Operating the optical edger equipment efficiently + Handling rejects, errors and other delays to resolve issues + Monitoring job status and ensuring older, rush and hot jobs are prioritized correctly + RF scanning and observing data on job trays + Working with other associates in the lab, specifically the Finish Department, to make certain job are moved according to processes and quickly to the Finish team to finalize orders + Following all SOPs, safety guidelines and meeting production expectations + Handling any other tasks that may be assigned. + No specific education required + Prior optical production with minimum 6 months relevant experience + Must be able to read and write English National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
