Minnesota Dental Surgery & Implant Center’s team has decades of experience in providing the highest quality services to their patients. We are general dentists whom are passionate about performing oral surgical procedures. We take extra care to ensure each patient feels at ease the moment they come into our office. At Minnesota Dental Surgery & Implant Center, our licensed and professional general dentists provide all-inclusive solutions for the most common tooth removal and replacement procedures performed outside of a patient’s regular dentist office.

Job Description



Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable 

  • Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment 

  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays) 

  • Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment 

  • Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures 

  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health 

Qualifications

  • DANB CDA Required
  • Radiology certification
  • Nitrous Certified Required
  • Allied Sedation Certified preferred

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
