Branding & Merchandising Specialist

Location: Hialeah, FL 33018

Department: Marketing

Pay: $21.00 Per hour + overtime

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing administrative assistant to support our marketing and sales operations. This role is responsible for managing point-of-purchase (POP) materials, overseeing brand execution across retail and wholesale channels, generating strategic sales reports, and controlling marketing budgets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting & Strategic Support:

  • Prepare and manage recurring reports, including:
  • AK reports
  • SKU/category sales performance by country (24-month view)
  • COOP program monthly control reports
  • Purchasing plans
  • POP inventory audits and tracking
  • Deliver custom reports and actionable insights to assist the sales team in client and market analysis.

POP (Point-of-Purchase) Material Management:

  • Process, track, and replenish POP material orders.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of both virtual and physical inventory.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for POP production and logistics.

Marketing Expense & COOP Program Oversight:

  • Reconcile marketing expenses in accordance with commercial agreements and budgets.
  • Monitor customer COOP budgets and ensure timely reporting and compliance with audit standards.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile COOP claims and reimbursements.

Retail & Wholesale Channel Management:

  • Analyze weekly retail promoter sales and attendance reports.
  • Track and report on competitive activity in retail environments.
  • Coordinate POP usage and branding compliance across channels.
  • Prepare salary and expense reports for promoters and coordinate with third-party agencies.

Accounting Support:

  • Submit credit note and internal requisition requests.
  • Provide clients with timely updates on credit statuses and reimbursements.

Inventory Control:

  • Initiate inventory adjustments and maintain ongoing oversight of POP inventory levels.

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Manage budgets and quotes for corporate events, including venues, logistics, and entertainment.
  • Coordinate contracts with external vendors, hotels, and restaurants.

Repack Project Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of repack projects.
  • Manage label printing, packaging materials, and UPC tracking.
  • Maintain budget control for repack initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, merchandising, brand management, or related roles.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets, POP logistics, and retail/wholesale branding is preferred.
