Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our equipment and facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to both internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
  • Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
  • Repair of drives, motors, electrical systems, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and service schedules.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in facility operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist with repairs and installations.
  • Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and testing.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on a variety of systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for effective troubleshooting.
  • Experience with logic controllers is highly desirable.
  • Leadership skills to guide team efforts during maintenance projects.
  • Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in residential painting is a plus, contributing to overall facility aesthetics.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Heavy electrical with some CNC knowledge a plus.

Shifts : Third: 10pm - 6am- M-F- with some overtime and weekends.

Second: 2pm - 10pm - M-F - with some overtime and weekends.

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. Person.
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Must have electrical maintenance experience.
