Job Description

The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager will play a key role in shaping and delivering new hire orientation and people manager development programs. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for employee development while also balancing learning design that will help us scale for the future. Ideal candidates will excel at both training design and facilitation and have a proven track record building collaborative relationships in complex environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the New Hire Onboarding and Manager Development programs, including defining content, partnering with stakeholders on content enhancements, facilitating sessions, and creating and centralizing supporting materials for new hires.
  • Design and facilitate manager development training in partnership with our HR Business Partner team.
  • Support L&D technologies as needed, including our channel LMS Brainshark and enterprise subscription to LinkedIn Learning.
  • Model and standardize active learning best practices to maximize the effectiveness of live and hybrid training for our internal L&D Community.
  • Create pre and post learning assessments to measure overall knowledge attainment and areas of improvement.
  • Consistently iterate and drive continuous improvement for programs under ownership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development specialization.
  • Experience with learning content design, measurement, and facilitation.
  • Experience with management of development programs.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with leaders of all levels and diverse disciplines.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, including gathering and analyzing feedback to inform changes.
  • P&C state license a plus.
  • Considerate, empathetic, and tactful communication skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work on a team or autonomously.
  • An ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.

SALARY RANGE​

The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.​
