Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Broker to join our team. This is a great opportunity to launch or grow your career in reinsurance, working directly with experienced professionals and international markets. As Junior Broker, you will support senior brokers in the analysis, development, and placement of reinsurance contracts—primarily across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively support the management and growth of our current portfolio while identifying new client relationships.
• Assist in the placement and processing of new business and renewals.
• Evaluate and assess insurance risks using analytical tools and financial models to support risk management strategies.
• Liaise with clients and underwriters on a daily basis; assist in preparing reinsurance slips and related documentation.
• Ensure all reinsurance documentation is accurate and compliant; maintain organized records of transactions and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field).
• Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance concepts and a problem-solving mindset.
• Analytical, independent, proactive, and conceptually strong.
• Proven ability to multitask and maintain client relationships with professionalism and integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
