The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring that stock levels are properly tracked, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role involves conducting inventory audits, updating records, coordinating stock replenishment, and assisting in inventory reconciliation to optimize operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Monitoring & Accuracy: Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems, updating item details and transaction histories.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards regarding inventory handling and storage.
- Support Audits: Assist with inventory audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and adjustments when required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred).
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and data entry practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
