Event Sales Manager
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling, planning and execution of private events in a stunning Rooftop Venue.
Arch Amenities Group partners with property owners and occupiers to create premium places to meet, work, workout, and host inspiring events. Our mission is to maximize the potential of people and places fusing hospitality, technology and wellness.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop client relationships and actively pursue opportunities via industry events and referrals
- Evaluate each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced and fit the strategic business needs of the property.
- Initiate and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and create unique client activations.
- Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective and booked business weekly.
- Nurture the full sales cycle from prospect to close. Work with clients throughout the booking and planning process by negotiating pricing and estimates, generating proposals and contracts, securing payment details, etc.
- Conduct and coordinate client appointments and site inspections to showcase the meeting and amenity space.
- Own end-to-end strategy, planning and execution of all events, including but not limited to: Administering the Sales agreement, detailing all food, beverage and A/V needs, billing instructions and final review.
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins
Event Planning & Execution
- Serve as the primary contact from planning through execution.
- Attend and contribute to weekly Sales and BEO meetings.
- Ensure accurate communication of event details to various departments.
- Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and working effectively with senior engagement team, building stakeholders, onsite staff, and temporary workers.
- Conduct detailed pre-event planning meetings with clients.
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Offer creative recommendations to enhance events and elevate guest experience.
- Provide expert, responsive service to guests and clients throughout their events.
- Create and sustain productive client and vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, developing preferred vendor list, and coordinating insurance requirements for onsite work
- Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
- Provides excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback through the use of comment cards and other customer care techniques. Supervises and follows up on guest requests and comments.
- Identifies, evaluates, and resolves problems or concerns from management and/or tenant in a timely manner, utilizing innovative ideas and sound judgment.
- Assist General Manager with planning client engagement events.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- College degree or comparable work experience
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a specific job or field – Marketing, Hospitality, Events, Public Relations, Amenity Management
- Strong event and/or programming experience
- Proven ability to maximize outbound sales
- Technology proficiency – Microsoft Office, Canva, Tripleseat
- Efficient, well-organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Willing to streamline and standardize processes wherever possible
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
- Able to show initiative and make decisions
- Effective leadership skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods
- This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk
- The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
