The Commercial Real Estate Practice Group is a cornerstone of the firm, handling a broad range of complex transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in transactions involving residential, self-storage, warehouse, commercial, office, gas station, mixed-use, industrial, and office-condominium properties.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases (anchor and junior-anchor shopping center transactions), easement agreements, declarations, and association documents.
• Manage financing transactions, including construction, acquisition, and mezzanine financing.
• Oversee construction and development projects, including drafting and negotiating AIA construction documents.
• Conduct due diligence, including survey and title review, and manage the closing process for real estate transactions.
• Provide strategic legal advice on structuring transactions to mitigate risks and achieve client objectives.
• Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations, advising clients on compliance and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and a member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong transactional skills and a comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate industry.
• Excellent judgment, business and legal acumen, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage files independently while also working collaboratively with other attorneys.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
