Job Description

Do you thrive in a people-first, fast-paced environment where precision and organization matter?

Do you want to be part of a team that values consistency, reliability, and high standards?

Join a leading Colorado family law firm that values ethics, efficiency, and balance!

CNL Law Firm is currently seeking a Client Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients at our Centennial office. This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine interest in helping people through emotionally challenging times.

This is not your average law firm intake role — you’ll be part of a team that sees and supports you as a person, not just a position. We offer a meaningful team culture and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Who We Are:

CNL Law Firm was founded to deliver compassionate, strategic, and high-quality legal representation to clients navigating family law matters. We are deeply committed to treating both our clients and our team members with dignity, respect, and care.

We understand that client intake is one of the most critical stages of the legal process. That’s why we invest in people who know how to listen, lead with empathy, and organize information with precision. As a firm, we’re guided by ethics, driven by results, and focused on building a supportive, balanced work environment where our team can thrive.

What you will be doing at CNL Law Firm:

Client Intake (85%)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients by phone, email, and online inquiry.
  • Conduct detailed and accurate conflict checks to ensure compliance and avoid potential ethical issues.
  • Answer the door and greet all visitors, ensuring that clients, delivery personnel, and vendors are directed appropriately and promptly attended to.
  • Gather essential case details and listen empathetically to people navigating family law issues.
  • Accurately set up new client matters in the case management system, ensuring all necessary information, documentation, and identifiers are properly entered and stored.
  • Schedule consultations and manage follow-ups to support a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed intake records using our case management system.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth communication and case transitions.
  • Be a critical part of ensuring that every potential client feels heard, respected, and informed.

Marketing (10%)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all external marketing vendors (SEO, PPC, web development).
  • Ensure vendors stay aligned with existing goals and campaigns.
  • Monitor lead flow and ensure data accuracy across our CRM and intake platforms.
  • Assist with scheduled social media content if needed.
  • Coordinate occasional client experience touchpoints (e.g., review requests).

Office Duties (5%)

  • Keep common areas tidy and well-stocked, including organizing supplies, restocking snacks and beverages, and maintaining inventory.
  • Sanitize kitchen surfaces daily and ensure cleanliness of shared equipment like the Keurig, counters, sink, and tables.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • The responsibilities outlined above are not intended to be an exhaustive list. CNL Law Firm reserves the right to add to, modify, or remove duties as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the business.

What you need to bring to CNL Law Firm:

  • 2+ years of experience in client intake, customer service, administrative support, or legal services (law firm experience preferred but not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A compassionate and calm demeanor, especially when speaking with people in emotionally difficult situations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email/calendar tools, and office technology.
  • The ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • A genuine interest in helping others and making their first impression of the legal system a positive one.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000 (depending on experience).
  • Paid time off, certain holidays, and a firm-sponsored 401(k) plan.
  • A culture that prioritizes respect, empathy, and professional development.
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and career advancement within the firm.

How to Apply:

Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to the email address listed below. In your cover letter, tell us about who you are, why this role interests you, and what you believe makes for an outstanding client experience. We’d love to hear how you could contribute to our mission at CNL Law Firm.
