Description:

We are a rapidly growing and prestigious personal injury law firm located in downtown Houston and are seeking an ambitious, dedicated, and passionate lawyer to join our team. Candidate must have five to six years of experience practicing law as well as experience in a plaintiffs' side law firm environment. Jones Act / Maritime experience is a plus. Confidentiality in all discussions and negotiations will be maintained.

Requirements:
  • Full time,
  • Strong academic and litigation background,
  • Independently manage a caseload from beginning to end,
  • Work closely with other attorneys and partners on a multitude of legal projects,
  • Regularly handle court appearances and depositions,
  • Take the lead with client communications and provide meaningful updates,
  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Texas.


Salary is negotiable and based on experience. After 60 days of employment candidates qualify for insurance benefits, the firm pays medical in full for the employee, employee may add dependents and the firm will deduct that portion of the premium from the employee's paycheck on a monthly basis. Dental & Vision is available but premiums are paid by employee. Garage parking is paid for as well.
