Job Description

Who You Are: The Architectural Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams to complete projects from initial concept through to completion. In this role, you will leverage advanced digital tools such as BIM and AI-powered design software to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and innovation. You will serve as the central point of contact for clients and team members alike, driving clear communication and seamless collaboration across all project phases.

Essential Duties

Project Leadership:

  • Manage and oversee architectural project teams
  • Manage and oversee architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This would include oversight and authorship of RFP’s, SOQ’s, and RFQ’s.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Technology Integration:

  • Utilize advanced BIM and AI-driven design tools to optimize design processes and project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our technology team to integrate innovative digital solutions into everyday workflows.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring that project goals are clearly communicated and met.
  • Present design concepts and progress updates in a clear, engaging manner to all stakeholders.
  • Structure and align contracts and documentation within the financial and time limitations of architectural projects

Team Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and designers, fostering an environment of open communication and creative problem-solving.
  • Work closely with our in-house sustainability experts when needed, without over-indexing on sustainability skills as these are managed by a dedicated team.
  • Leadership and mentorship of staff, promoting professional development and quality enhancement

Quality Assurance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all project deliverables meet rigorous quality standards through regular reviews and proactive risk management.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and design specifications.
  • Oversee construction administration and develop post project/post occupancy project feedback protocols

Must Haves

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with current Architect License
  • Additional certifications helpful
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams in an architectural office/firm
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in architecture with a portfolio of projects.
  • Proven expertise in utilizing BIM and data analytics within project workflows.
  • Openness to AI and new technology
