💼 Direct Hire | Base Salary: $105,000 – $147,000

🔍 What You’ll Do

As Accounting Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in leading financial integrity and compliance for a dynamic and growing organization. Your day-to-day will include:

  • 💡 Mentorship & Leadership: Train and mentor direct reports across core accounting functions.
  • 🧾 Financial Operations: Oversee vendor setups, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly allocations.
  • 📊 Close Cycles & Reporting: Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial closes—including audit prep and tax return assistance.
  • 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with project managers and vendors to manage contract accounting for R&D, SG&A, and manufacturing.
  • 🏗 Asset & Lease Accounting: Review fixed assets, depreciation, lease amortizations, and manage construction in progress entries.
  • 💼 Treasury Oversight: Monitor cash management, investments, and deferred revenue tracking.
  • 🔐 Compliance & Controls: Lead SOX 404 compliance activities and serve as administrator for Blackline reconciliation software.

What You Bring

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (8+ years of experience required; CPA or public accounting background preferred)
  • 👥 3+ years of leadership or team management experience
  • 📘 Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control knowledge
  • 🧠 Bonus points for:
  • CPA license and/or “Big Four” public accounting experience
  • Experience in publicly traded, multinational, SOX-compliant environments
  • Background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Great Plains
